Common Questions

Does this tool upload my files to a server?
No. All processing happens entirely in your browser using the PDF-lib library and the Canvas API. Your PDFs and images never leave your device. The tool works offline after the page loads.
What file formats are supported?
Base document: PDF (any version), JPG, PNG, or WebP. Overlay image: JPG, PNG, WebP, or GIF. The export format matches the base — a PDF base exports as PDF, and an image base exports as PNG.
How do I add a signature to every page?
Load your PDF, load your signature image, position and resize the signature as desired on any page, then in the controls panel choose "All pages" under Apply To and click Export & Download.
How do I lock the aspect ratio when resizing?
Hold the Shift key while dragging any corner handle, or click the lock button (🔒) between the W and H inputs in the controls panel to toggle aspect-ratio lock.
Can I load files from a URL?
Yes. Paste a direct link into either URL field and click Load. The remote server must allow CORS (cross-origin) requests. Public CDN links and GitHub raw links generally work. If the fetch fails, download the file locally and pick it from disk instead.
Are password-protected PDFs supported?
No. Password-protected PDFs cannot be processed. Remove the password with your PDF reader first, then use this tool.
