Magic Image Cleaner

Erase the translucent AI “sparkle” watermark and rebuild the texture underneath — like magic remove, but for whole folders. Point it at a folder, it cleans every image in every sub-folder and saves _updated copies. Your originals are never touched.

Open a single image

We’ll auto-detect the watermark and highlight it. Adjust the selection with the brush if needed, then clean it — great for tricky images the batch mode can’t nail.

How It Works

Three steps to watermark-free images

1

Pick a folder or image

Choose a folder to clean in bulk (all sub-folders included) or open one image for manual touch-ups. Nothing is uploaded — it all runs in your browser.

2

Auto-detect & rebuild

The cleaner locates the translucent sparkle, lifts the white veil, and reconstructs the real texture underneath so the fix blends in naturally.

3

Save copies safely

Every result is written as a _updated copy beside the original (or bundled into a ZIP). Your source images are never modified.

FAQ

Common questions

Does this watermark remover upload my images?
No. Every image is processed locally in your browser using the Canvas API and typed-array math. Your files never leave your device — the tool works fully offline after the page loads.
What exactly does it remove?
It targets the translucent white four-point “sparkle” watermark that AI image generators add near a corner. Batch mode auto-detects and removes it on every image; Manual mode lets you brush over any spot. Because the mark is semi-transparent, the tool recovers the real texture underneath instead of smudging it.
Will it change or delete my originals?
Never. For each image it writes a new copy with a _updated suffix (e.g. Photo.png → Photo_updated.png) next to the original. Files that already end in _updated are skipped, so re-running is safe.
Does it go through sub-folders?
Yes — it walks the folder you pick and every nested sub-folder at any depth, cleaning every supported image. Non-image files are ignored and empty folders are reported and skipped.
Why run a local server for the downloaded file?
Saving copies back into your folder uses the File System Access API, which needs a secure context (HTTPS or localhost). The hosted version here works directly. For the standalone file, serve its folder over localhost — for example python -m http.server — and open http://localhost:8000. Opening it via a file:// path won’t allow folder access.
Which browsers work?
In-place folder cleaning works in Chromium browsers (Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera). Elsewhere the tool reads the folder and gives you a single ZIP of the cleaned images instead. Manual mode works in every modern browser.
Which formats are supported?
PNG, JPG/JPEG, and WebP. Each cleaned copy keeps the same format as its original.
