Business Automation Intern

About this Role

Every growing business wastes hours on manual, repetitive tasks that should be automated. You'll identify those workflows, design the automation, and wire it together using Zapier, Google Workspace, CRM tools, and API integrations. You'll automate lead capture, invoice generation, email follow-up sequences, client onboarding, and reporting dashboards. The ROI of your work is measurable in hours saved per week, and clients will notice. If you love systems thinking and making things run like clockwork, this internship is built for you.

What You'll Do

• Audit existing business workflows and identify high-value automation opportunities
• Build multi-step automation workflows in Zapier connecting CRMs, email tools, forms, and spreadsheets
• Set up automated email sequences for lead nurturing, onboarding, and renewal reminders
• Integrate Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Forms, Calendar, Gmail) into automated pipelines
• Connect external APIs to CRM systems to sync customer data across platforms
• Create automated reporting dashboards that update in real time without manual input
• Document all automation workflows clearly so the team can maintain and modify them

What We're Looking For

• Logical, systems-oriented thinking — you naturally see workflows as flowcharts
• Basic familiarity with Zapier or Make (Integromat) is a strong plus
• Comfort working with spreadsheets, forms, and data pipelines
• Understanding of how APIs work and what webhooks do
• Curiosity to learn new tools quickly — the automation ecosystem evolves fast
