Frontend Developer Intern

About this Role

Frontend development sits at the intersection of engineering and design, and getting it right requires caring about both. You'll translate Figma designs into responsive, cross-browser-compatible HTML and CSS, then bring them to life with JavaScript interactions that feel smooth and intuitive. You'll care about Lighthouse scores, Core Web Vitals, and whether animations run at 60fps. Clients judge their websites harshly — and you'll be the person who makes sure they have nothing to complain about.

What You'll Do

• Convert Figma/XD designs into semantic, accessible HTML and CSS
• Build fully responsive layouts that work beautifully from 320px to 4K
• Implement interactive features and micro-animations with vanilla JavaScript
• Optimize pages for Core Web Vitals — LCP, CLS, FID — and Google PageSpeed
• Test across browsers and devices to catch and fix compatibility issues
• Maintain clean, modular CSS using BEM or utility-first methodologies
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate APIs and dynamic content

What We're Looking For

• Strong command of HTML5 semantics and CSS3 (flexbox, grid, animations)
• Comfort with vanilla JavaScript (DOM manipulation, events, fetch)
• Understanding of responsive design principles and media queries
• Basic knowledge of web performance metrics and how to improve them
• Familiarity with browser developer tools for debugging and profiling
