Legal Tech Documentation Intern

About this Role

Every product we build needs a legal foundation — privacy policies, terms of service, data processing agreements, and user consent flows. You'll draft these documents from scratch, ensure they comply with India's IT Act, GDPR (where applicable), and RBI guidelines for payment products. Your work protects clients, protects users, and protects VoBot. This is an ideal internship if you're pursuing law or are deeply interested in the intersection of technology, business, and legal compliance.

What You'll Do

• Draft and review Privacy Policies, Terms of Service, and Cookie Notices for web and mobile products
• Ensure documents comply with India's IT Act 2000, DPDP Act, and applicable GDPR requirements
• Prepare data processing agreements (DPAs) for client-vendor relationships
• Create user consent frameworks and cookie consent flows aligned with legal requirements
• Research jurisdiction-specific requirements for client businesses operating across India
• Maintain and version-control all legal document templates for reuse
• Liaise with the engineering team to understand data flows and represent them accurately in privacy docs

What We're Looking For

• Pursuing or completed a degree in Law (LLB) or a related field
• Familiarity with India's IT Act, DPDP Act, and basic GDPR principles
• Strong written communication — legal documents must be precise, not vague
• Ability to research and synthesize regulatory requirements independently
• Interest in technology products and how data flows through modern applications
